BUILDING IN PUBLIC Β· LATE 2026

PIXEL MOUSE

A desktop automation companion.
{BOT} lives on your desktop. Walks. Sleeps. Works.
Records macros. Clicks for you. So you can think.

// THE PROBLEM

DESKTOP AUTOMATION
SHOULDN'T FEEL LIKE 1995

Existing automation tools are powerful but ugly, intimidating, or built for IT pros. We think your computer should have a friend who helps you, not a spreadsheet of macros.

πŸ₯±
BORING UI
AutoHotkey scripts. UWP apps from 2016. Why does productivity software look like a tax form?
🀯
STEEP LEARNING
You shouldn't need to write code to click a button 100 times. Visual workflow builders are still rare.
πŸ’Έ
EXPENSIVE OR FREE-BUT-SCARY
$200 enterprise tools or sketchy free .exe files. Where's the indie middle ground?
// THE VISION

A FRIEND, NOT A TOOL

Pebbly Pixel Mouse is what happens when you ask: "What if your desktop had a tiny pixel companion who watched, learned, and helped?"

πŸ€–
{BOT} LIVES ON YOUR DESKTOP
Tiny pixel character that walks, sleeps, and reacts. Click to expand menu. Drag to move. Always there.
🎬
RECORD ANY ACTION
Press F8. Do the thing. Press F8 again. Now {BOT} can do it forever. Or 100 times. Or until you say stop.
🎯
VISUAL WORKFLOWS
Drag-and-drop steps. If/Else logic. Loops. Like Lego, but for clicking buttons.
πŸ–ΌοΈ
IMAGE MATCHING
Capture a button. {BOT} finds it on screen. Works even when windows move around.
⌨️
GLOBAL HOTKEYS
F8, F9, custom combos. Run macros without breaking flow. ESCΓ—3 = emergency stop. Always.
πŸ’š
PEBBLY-NATIVE
Same {BOT}. Same green. Same indie soul. Works alongside Pixel Remover. One family.

"Honest disclosure: I'm one indie dev in Seoul building this in public. The screenshots above are design mockups. Real code starts after Pixel Remover stabilizes."

I'm 이응, a developer in Seoul building Pebbly Labs in my free time. Pixel Remover (released May 5, 2026) is product #1. Pixel Mouse will be product #2.

I'm sharing the vision and design now to validate demand and build alongside the community. Real development starts later this year. Real launch: late 2026.

You'll see the messy parts: failed prototypes, design iterations, the moments I'm stuck. That's the deal with Building in Public.

If this resonates β€” follow along as I build this from scratch.

Most automation tools are spreadsheets in a window. Pixel Mouse has personality. {BOT} reacts, expresses, lives. Productivity tools should be joyful, not joyless.

// FAQ

QUESTIONS YOU MIGHT HAVE

When can I actually use Pixel Mouse?
Realistically: late 2026 for v1.0. Early alpha builds: Sep-Oct 2026 for first 50 waitlist members. Public beta: November 2026. I'm one person with a day job, building this in evenings and weekends. No fake "next week" promises. Real timelines.
Will it be free?
Free tier: yes. Auto-click, simple macros, single-monitor. Pro tier: $4-7/mo for advanced features (image matching, scripting, multi-monitor, {BOT} customization). Early supporters get founding price ($2/mo lifetime). During beta: free for everyone.
Mac / Linux support?
Windows first (v1.0). Mac v1.1 (early 2027). Linux later if there's demand. One indie dev = focused scope. I can't ship 3 platforms simultaneously and not break.
Why not use AutoHotkey / existing tools?
AutoHotkey is amazing for power users. But not everyone is a power user. Pixel Mouse is for people who want automation without the script learning curve. Drag-and-drop workflows. Visual macros. Friendly UI. Zero coding required.
Is this a scam? Why no .exe yet?
Fair question. No, not a scam. Yes, design comes before code. Pixel Remover (the proof I ship) is live now: toolkit.pebblylabs.com. If I disappear, you get nothing. If I succeed, you get the product. That's the deal.
What about anti-virus warnings?
Honest answer: Yes, indie automation apps without code-signing certificates often trigger Windows Defender. For v1.0, expect "Unknown Publisher" warnings. Source, hashes, and VirusTotal scans will be published openly. Code-signing certificate later when there's revenue to support it.
Will you sell my data?
No. Pebbly philosophy: your data stays on your device. Pixel Mouse processes locally. No telemetry beyond opt-in crash reports. Email signup is for product updates only. Unsubscribe any time.
